April 4th should have been Kyra’s 9th Birthday. And, coincidentally, April is also National Child Abuse Prevention Month. For $40, we'll send you 9 pinwheels to raise awareness about child abuse.

For those who may not know, Kyra was 28-months-old when she was murdered by her abusive father during a custody proceeding in Nassau County, New York. Her murder was 100% preventable. Every day, we work from dawn until we fall asleep trying to prevent any other child from being harmed due to the failures of our dysfunctional divorce/family court system.

Kyra deserves to have the BIGGEST and BEST 9th Birthday Party. Our dream would be to see pictures of groups of eight blue pinwheels all over the place, in completely different settings.

From the very first time I spoke about Kyra, her story has resulted in life saving measures. By doing something this simple - putting nine pinwheels up - you may help save another child’s life!

On April 4th, I ask you to please join me and put nine blue pinwheels on your front lawn to mark Kyra's 9th birthday and to raise awareness about Child Abuse. Blue pinwheels represent child abuse prevention, and I know Kyra would LOVE to see everyone celebrating HER on her special day.

• Don’t have nine blue pinwheels? No problem. For $40 - you can purchase pinwheels here, and we’ll send you them.

• Don’t have a lawn? No problem. Put the nine pinwheels in a vase or around your home or someplace people can see them. On Kyra’s birthday, take a picture of the pinwheels and tag Kyra’s Champions on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
